As a Growth Marketing Intern at Surfline, you will work with our team to help optimize our growth marketing channels. You will support the Growth team through executing marketing campaigns and providing data and analysis required to deliver a carefully curated and enhanced customer experience.
Under Surfline’s “Work from Anywhere” policy, this position may be performed on a remote basis from any location within California.

What You'll Do:
- Assist the Growth Marketing team in building and executing campaigns.
- Gather data and insights from our growth marketing channels (Email, Push Notifications, and In-Product Messages).
- Perform market research to identify new and innovative ways to optimize our growth marketing channels.
- Maintain and update the Growth Marketing messaging calendar.
- Analytics: How to interpret and leverage data to measure channel performance with analytics softwares.
- Campaign Strategy: Learn how a global marketing team develops and executes cross-channel marketing campaigns that support broader business initiatives.
- Campaign Execution: Learn how to build campaigns using email, push notifications, and in-product messages.
- Professional communication skills: Experience working on a large and collaborative team that spans across marketing, product, content, forecast, and more.
- Enthusiasm for the values and culture of Surfline
- Current college student pursuing a degree in business and/or marketing.
- Professional communication skills.
- Self-motivation, organization, attentive to details.
- Ability to independently prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and eager to take initiative.
- Ability to dream big and think outside of the box.
- Previous experience in marketing, or other business verticals.
- Experience working in the surf/outdoor industry.
- A passion for surfing and the ocean.
